Norway's Natural Gas Pipeline Operator Needs Export Infrastructure To Compete With Russian and LNG Supplies

Norwegian offshore gas trunklines operator Gassco transported 106.99 bcm from Norway to Europe and the UK last year, down from 114.2 bcm in 2018.
KØPERVIK, Norway – Norwegian offshore gas trunklines operator Gassco transported 106.99 bcm from Norway to Europe and the UK last year, down from 114.2 bcm in 2018.

This coincided with an upsurge in European imports of LNG, Gassco pointed out. At the same time planned maintenance on facilities offshore Norway was higher than the previous year.
