CUSHING, Okla. -- An earthquake rattled the state of Oklahoma Sunday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
CBS affiliate KOTV reported that the 5.3-magnitude earthquake happened at 7:44 p.m. CST.

Its epicenter was reported about one mile west of Cushing, and 53 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
The earthquake was less than four miles deep, KOTV reported.

The quake was felt as far away as Kansas City, Missouri, and Little Rock, Arkansas.
