Goldman's 2017 Forecasts in One Handy Chart

Following up on Friday's "Goldman Reveals Its Top Trade Recommendations For 2017" (#1 GBP/USD at 1.14 and EUR/USD at parity at end-2017).

The pound is currently changing hands at 1.2473, the euro 1.06276.

This year has been particularly bad for many in the predictions business, but that isn’t stopping market forecasters from doing their thing.

A team of Goldman Sachs analysts led by Charles Himmelberg has offered 2017 targets for a range of asset classes.

Their forecasts for the S&P 500 , major currencies, the 10-year Treasury yield, oil prices, gold prices and more are shown in the chart below.

Don’t dream big, if you think Goldman’s targets have merit. The analysts largely don’t see big gains.
