As PV InfoLink has stopped tracking multi-grade polysilicon prices and EnergyTrend has finally caught up on its lag behind other price indices, Bernreuter Research has returned to EnergyTrend as its source of raw data. We calculate the global spot price average from EnergyTrend’s price data on multi and mono grade in China and its average price outside China. The calculation is now based on a market share of 95% for mono grade and an 80-20 split between polysilicon produced in China and material supplied by non-Chinese manufacturers.
