UK investor buys 7% stake in General Cable (BGC)

These guys are a class act. Sarasin & Partners runs about $15 Billion.
The parent company Sarasin Group owns one of the best Swiss private banks.
From the Cincinnati Business Courier:
A UK-based investment firm, Sarasin & Partners LLP, has acquired a 7 percent stake in General Cable Corp., according to a report filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission on Friday.
Sarasin said it owns more than $3.7 million shares for clients.

The filing indicates it bought the shares prior to Dec. 31, in which case it has been a nice investment to date. The shares have been setting new 52-week highs above $40 this week and are up sharply from the mid-20s as recently as last October....
