First Solar Inc (FSLR.O: Quote, Profile, Research), maker of thin-film solar equipment, said on Wednesday its third-quarter earnings jumped, helped by the ramp up of production at its new German facility.
Net income was $46 million, or 58 cents per share, versus $4.3 million, or 6 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
