Don't You Love Checking Your Email? Sometimes You Find Out What Scientific American is Up To

I was just dashing off an email regarding the post below,
(Mr. Lomborg has a walk-on bit [Okay. Without him and Mr. Seitz there would have been no post])
when I saw this in the inbox.
Cool, huh?

Hello Climateer,

For your blog, wanted to let you know about a noteworthy new feature of SciAm that was just launched- Clash. Clash an online arena where the most controversial science-related issues in popular culture today are debated by expert participants as they actively participate in the blogs alongside SciAm editors and react to, and engage with readers through user commentary. The inaugural topic of Clash is part of a special section dedicated to global warming (http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=special-report-) and climate-change and features controversial and self proclaimed “skeptical environmentalist” Bjorn Lomberg. He faces off against Gary Yohe, newly-minted Nobel Laureate and lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 2007 working group and Sir Nicholas Stern, a British economist, academic, and former government economic advisor for the UK.

You can find the link to this “Clash” here – http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=clash-what-will-climate-change-cost-us&sc=clash_300x250

Thanks,

Scott
