"Hamas leaders worth staggering $11B revel in luxury...."

Remember when the Washington Post referred to the head of ISIS as an "austere religious scholar" the day after his death?

I wonder if the Post will go for the "austere" bit when Israel tracks down and kills the Hamas guys.

From the New York Post, November 7:

Hamas leaders worth staggering $11B revel in luxury — while Gaza’s people suffer

While their people languish in poverty and are treated as human shields, the leaders of Hamas live billionaire lifestyles.

The terror group’s three top leaders alone are worth a staggering total of $11 billion and enjoy a life of luxury in the sanctuary of the emirate of Qatar.

The emirate has long welcomed the leaders of the terror group and installed them in its luxury hotels and villas at the same time as it hosts a vast American military presence.

Now US Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) is sponsoring a bill that would strip Qatar of its status as a key US ally, The Post has learned, unless it kicks out the Hamas leadership.

The terrorist group, which is responsible for the antisemitic Oct. 7 massacre of more than 1,400 innocent civilians and soldiers in southern Israel, continues to hold over 20.

Hamas runs an office in Qatar’s capital, Doha, and leaders Ismail Haniyeh, Moussa Abu Marzuk and Khaled Mashal maintain a luxurious lifestyle.

....MUCH MORE, including some interesting pics.
The newspaper amended its headline to call him an "extremist leader".

Our intro to October 17's "Dead Man Walking: "Far from Gaza hardships, Hamas chief and family enjoy easy life in Qatar":

I would expect the Israelis to hunt down and kill every Hamas leader that they don't find in Gaza.

Operation Wrath of God which followed the 1972 Munich massacre of 11 Israeli Olympic team members would be the template. And this time, since we are talking the slaughter of 1300 people, including dual-nationals and foreign citizens, the Western governments might be more inclined to turn a blind eye to any mysterious deaths on their territory.

As for Qatar, we shall see....
