Corrected: Monster Cyclone Hits Australian Coast at High Tide

Correction: The tide had already turned when the storm made landfall at 12:30, about 1/2 hour later than we were estimating. This difference in timing means the storm surge was considerably lower than worst case, "only" 10-12 feet high.

Not good. They might be looking at a 25 foot storm surge.
