The Paris public prosecutor's office announced on Sunday, October 26, that "investigators from the BRB (Banditry Repression Brigade) made arrests on the evening of Saturday, October 25, 2025. One of the men arrested was preparing to leave the country from Roissy airport."
Earlier, various media outlets had reported that two men had been arrested in the Paris region and taken into custody for organized theft and criminal conspiracy. In her statement, Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau did not confirm the number of people arrested and added that "it is too early to provide any details."
