Belarus introduces temporary ban on export of certain goods 

MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 688 as of 20 September 2024 has introduced a temporary ban on the export of certain types of industrial goods. The document was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.

The document establishes a temporary ban on the export of goods outside Belarus to the EAEU member-states regardless of the country of origin. The ban applies to gypsum, anhydrite, dental cements and other filling materials, bone cements, devices for stomical use, flat, sensitized, unexposed photographic plates and photographic films of any material other than paper, cardboard or textile, x-ray, disinfectants, gloves, mittens and mitts used for medical, surgical, dental or veterinary purposes, glass ampoules, waste and scrap tungsten and its products, compressed or liquefied gas containers made of ferrous metal. The list also includes knives and cutting blades for machinery or mechanical appliances, industrial or laboratory burners and furnaces, including incinerators, non-electric, fork lift trucks, other carts equipped with lifting or handling equipment, and other items....
