There Were Three Seismic Shifts In Media Coverage This Weekend

When someone uses the term narrative, and they're not talking literature, I assume they are political hacks.
It's a pretty handy filter and seems reasonably accurate.

That said, here are some narrative shifts seen in the mass (and not so mass) media over the last few days:

1) The President is no longer St. Joseph of Delaware

2) The Reuters 'Exclusive' on the FBI and January 6th:

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations....MUCH MORE

This may not be the victory that folks on the right think it is, rather it may be cover for the FBI not arresting and presenting for charging Oath Keepers founder and suspected FBI informant Stewart Rhodes and Proud Boys leader and known FBI informant Henry “Enrique” Tarrio.*

3) Covid-19

I'm not sure if these shifts in presentation mean anything or, if they do, what we can take from same, but something seems to be going on in all three areas.
The easiest is the shift regarding the President, so apparent even a blogger could spot it.
The vaccine stories may just have been setting the stage for jabs three and four while the reasoning behind the FBI revelation is still their little secret, I wasn't invited onto the zoom call.

*Tarrio was arrested January 4th on charges of burning a BLM banner and attempted possession of a large-capacity ammunition feeding device. Sentencing was scheduled for today but I'm not sure that is still on.
Immediately after the January 6th events the idea was floated that, given his work with the FBI he was actually taken into protective detention, taken off the field as it were, ahead of the melee on the Mall.
