Options traders jumped on MEMC Electronic Materials (WFR) calls on Thursday, as more than 14,000 bullish bets crossed the tape. This volume was more than double the stock's average daily call trading volume, according to data from WhatsTrading.com. In addition, 69.6% of the call volume traded at the ask price, indicating that most of the contracts were likely purchased.
Calls have been a favorite on the International Securities Exchange (ISE) recently.
