ZeroHedge's Ad Server Thinks I Should Upgrade My Wardrobe For Diwali

It's a step up from the "Banish nipple problems" ad they were serving me a while back. Or the other one.

That's via Pernia.

With only three days to the Holiday I'm not sure it will arrive in time.

On the other hand the coffee-and-copper coloured outfit might work for after-hols. Western wool pinstripe suits in brown have been out of favor for a few decades but the silk makes this snap:

The stole is a nice touch

Now to accessorize. Perhaps a Roller to get the full Maharaja experience:

Maybe not. The "mechanical elephants" might be a bit too grand for yours truly.

Here's a nice one that was built for the Maharajah [actually the Thakore Saheb] of Rajkot in 1934:

It was sold in the mid-1960's but later, unfortunately for your humble blogger, was bought back at a Sotheby's Monaco auction by the great-grandson of the Thakhore Saheb who gave it to his father as a present:

In his turn the grandson, Shri Mandhatasinh Jadeja has become the Thakor Saheb and inherited the car back from his departed papa.
