I would take that to mean that as of the date of this report at minimum some of the remaining monkeys are still roaming free, wouldn't you?

Unknown if any monkeys were still on the loose

The Alpha Genesis Primate Research Facility in Yemassee, South Carolina has stopped providing updates on their attempt to recapture monkeys that escaped last month.

In early November, 43 rhesus macaques escaped from the breeding facility after a caretaker did not properly secure the doors, officials said. By the evening of Nov. 18, 37 of the 43 monkeys had been recaptured and appeared to be healthy, according to Alpha Genesis.

But that’s when the communication stopped.

Alpha Genesis hasn’t provided an update on the remaining missing monkeys since then. As of Dec. 3, it wasn’t clear whether the six remaining missing monkeys had been recaptured....
