The partners will work on expanding sustainable data center infrastructure worldwide
Keppel is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on digital infrastructure and energy efforts, and is migrating to the latter's cloud.
The companies this week signed a strategic framework agreement to collaborate on data centers, subsea cables, and renewable energy.
As part of the agreement, Keppel has selected AWS as its preferred cloud provider and will collaborate with AWS to support the integration of the AWS Bedrock platform across its AI and machine learning business areas.
Keppel and AWS will collaborate on accelerating generative AI innovation, including a series of workshops to design an AI Platform to accelerate Keppel’s growth strategy.
The companies also plan to develop new subsea cable systems to support AWS’s global network. Keppel is currently developing the Bifrost Cable System, a trans-Pacific cable system connecting Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, the United States (Guam, Grover Beach, Winema), and Mexico....
