China to increase reliance on wind power

This is a big deal. From MarketWatch:
China plans to increase the amount of electricity it generates from wind power by about 8 times current installed capacity, to about 100 gigawatts, by 2020, a senior government official said Monday.
The target, more than three times the 30GW target identified about 18 months ago, was unveiled by Fang Junshi, an official with the National Energy Administration, according to wire reports....MORE
