Cool Machines: Offshore Wind

Back in January we relayed the "ship on legs" in "How the Heck do You Build an Offshore Wind Farm?"

Today earth2tech alerts us to an MIT Technology Review story on a couple companies that are going to the next level, floating wind islands. For the record, the picture that accompanies our post is way cooler than MIT's.
(that's probably the only time I will ever be able to say that. ever)
