Jonah Lehrer gets a book deal
Jonah Lehrer, the writer who resigned from The New Yorker after acknowledging that he had fabricated Bob Dylan quotes and republished material from his own columns, has landed a book deal with Portfolio.Except for, you know, the fictional quotes.
Lehrer will co-author "The Digital Mind: How We Think and Behave Differently on Screens," with Shlomo Benartzi for the Penguin Random House imprint. The book is slated for publication in May of next year.
In a statement to The New York Times, Portfolio publisher Adrian Zackheim called Lehrer "one of the most gifted nonfiction writers of his generation."...MORE
