Natural Gas Rig Count: DOWN 7

After going green for a while this morning the front futures are now down again, $2.89, down 3 cents.

The number of natural-gas drilling rigs working in the U.S. fell by 7 in the latest week to 498, according to oil- field-services company Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI).

The figure was down 385 from a year ago.

The oil-rig count rose by 13 to 1,429 in the week. The number of working oil rigs was up 398 from a year ago.
