Kariem McFarlin, the Alameda man who recently was arrested for burglarizing the home of the late Steve Jobs, among other things allegedly grabbed three of the family’s iPads. (He also took jewelry, a blender, Macs, Steve’s wallet and more.) One of the iPads he gave to his old friend Kenneth Kahn, who met McFarlin when he coached him on the Encinal High School basketball team in Alameda more than 10 years ago.
As the San Jose Mercury News reports, Kahn has twice run for mayor of Alameda – and once ran for mayor of San Francisco – but he makes his living as an entertainer. His stage name: Kenny the Clown.
