Banks to Report First-Quarter Earnings, But Info May Be Murky

Following up on the two posts immediately below, the big news this week will be the bank's earnings. It looks as though we are setting up for the second scenario mentioned in our March 13 post "Markets: Where Do We Go From Here?".

The world will finally get a peek into the finances of troubled US banks this week as earnings season gets under way, but recent accounting changes mean investors might not know what to make of them.
