Conglomerate Siemens AG said Tuesday that it struck a deal with German utility E.ON AG to build 500 wind turbines for planned projects in Europe and the United States.In a joint statement, the companies said that Siemens Energy, a unit of Munich-based Siemens, would supply 500 wind turbines with the capacity of 1,150 megawatts for projects on both continents in 2010 and 2011.
