Navies: "British Carrier Strike Group declared operational"

Our last visit to the Royal Navy, January 4's "Four Royal Navy Warships Leave Portsmouth in Brexit Show of Force to French Fisherman" was a bit underwhelming.

This latest on the other hand is a pretty good indication that as an island nation Britain is not going to depend on the kindness of strangers.

The UK’s Carrier Strike Group reached Initial Operating Capability say the Ministry of Defence.

Britain is now able to deploy a combat capable Carrier Strike Group anywhere in the world....
