March 14: It's Albert Einstein's Birthday! (it's also Pi day)

I almost forgot but saw 3.14 on a calendar.
Pi Day in the U.S. is March 14 (3.14), in Europe it is July 22 (22/7). It's a never-ending party!

We first used this on March 14, 2009:

Also known as Talk Like a Physicist Day.
A reader emails:

Thanks doc!
We've been celebrating Pi Day for a while although not nearly as long as some.
Here's a post from 3.14 '08:

I was so wrapped up in the BSC** conference call that I almost forgot the important stuff.
Some have dated the first Pi day celebration to March 14, 1592 at 6:53:58. This is incorrect.
It is obvious the Druids knew Pi.
