Petra Diamonds unearths 122.5-carat blue diamond
The London-listed company's discovery comes just months after it sold a 29.6 carat blue diamond from the same mine for more than $25 million
Petra Diamonds has unearthed a 122.5-carat blue diamond at its mine in South Africa.The London-listed company said further tests were needed on the "exceptional" stone, which was discovered in its Cullinan mine, before it could determine its value.Petra sold a 29.6-carat blue diamond for $25.6m in February and a 25.5-carat one for $16.9m last year.
