DWS Scudder Brings an Amazon Jungle to Wall Street Area

From the press release:

Event to Promote DWS Climate Change Fund and Raise Awareness of Climate Change-Related Investment Opportunities

On Feb. 8, the Promenade at South Street Seaport (at Water Street) will be transformed into an Amazon jungle complete with exotic animals, jungle foliage, an 18 waterfall, Brazilian band and dance troupe, celebrity DJ, and steamy temperatures when DWS Scudder, the U.S. retail unit of Deutsche Banks Asset Management division, promotes its recently launched DWS Climate Change Fund. The jungle will be open to the public, including lunch-time crowds from nearby Wall Street. The event, designed to demonstrate the potential impacts of climate change and raise awareness of related investment opportunities, supports the New York leg of a nationwide road show consisting of 80+ events. An earlier event in Beverly Hills on Jan. 23 featured a 90 ski slope built out of 25 tons of snow and included demonstrations by professional snowboarders....
