Some Of The Upsides Of President Biden's Comments On The Proximity Of Nuclear Armageddon

Last night we learned "Biden: Nuclear 'Armageddon' Risk Highest Since '62 Crisis" and though this would appear—at least to the non-Panglossian among us—to be very negative, there are positives, as pointed out by the Chairman of WallStreetBets (not a real position, more of a nom de reddit):

Voltaire wasn't always at his most chipper in Candide. There's Martin who is pretty much the anti-Pangloss who, arriving in England during the Seven Years War just after the execution of Admiral Byng for not doing his utmost against the French tells Candide:

"Dans ce pays-ci, il est bon de tuer de temps en temps un amiral pour encourager les autres." 
(in this country, it is good to kill an admiral from time to time to encourage the others)
