Former U.S. Ambassador To Ukraine Tipped For Promotion To Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources

Most of our posts on Geoffrey Pyatt had to do with the 2013 - 2014 Maidan coup in Ukraine and of course his conversation with Victoria Nuland on who they should install to run the new government, also known as the "F*** the EU" call.

In between his time in Ukraine and his current appointment (awaiting final Congressional approval) Ambassador Pyatt was the Ambassador to Greece, 2016-2022.

Because of that connection a lot of the congrats have come from the Greeks:

The Russians also took note with the headline at Sputnik tying President Biden, Ukraine,  Ambassador Pyatt and energy together in an economical 14 words: "Biden Nominates Former US Envoy to Ukraine as Assistant Secretary of State for Energy"

I don't mean President Biden. He's a nasty, corrupt old perv with anger and cruelty issues but he's not the one running the show.

I'm talking about the people around him, the advisors from BlackRock and WestExec and the retreads from the Obama administration. They've had eight years since Nuland and Pyatt and the rest of the gang put together the Maidan coup in Ukraine, eight years to game out: "If Putin does this, we do that."

And all they've seemed to accomplish is wrecking the U.S. economy and absolutely destroying the economies of our European allies....
