Some Past Headlines That Came Burbling Up From Google's Subconscious: "Coronavirus: Monkeys 'escape with COVID-19 samples' after attacking lab assistant"

Although the 'search blog' box on Climateer Investing is powered by Google, it is pretty much just a straight keyword searcher. On the other hand a search on the main Google site comes back with results that border on black-box. Because of this algorythmia the GOOG has made itself pretty much worthless for many searches. And when you add to that the fact Google substitutes their own made-up URLs for a target site (especially in news) rather than just giving you the address of the place you want to go this ain't your grandpa's Googster with the simple page-rank and whatnot. Ah nostalgia.

On the other hand it can still amuse. Here are four Climateer Investing stories that came from one very odd search:

"Coronavirus: Monkeys 'escape with COVID-19 samples' after attacking lab assistant"

"Wuhan's 'Bat Lady' Warns Of Coming Covid-19 Mutants"

An Anti-Meat Overview of What's What In The Protein Biz

I am coming around to the opinion that faux meat will be a niche product until it is mandated.
And a lot of the folks behind the hype-n-tout do want to mandate the transition.
So, in anticipation of this happening, I accept in advance my coming coronation as the Chickpea King.
(also Marquis de Mung Beans and a couple courtesy titles to be named later)

"Is Zero Hedge a Russian Trojan Horse?"

Interesting on a few levels.
First off, the source, The New Republic (TNR) has for most of its 106 year history been to the left of the American Democrat Party and for long periods has been to the left of your average Marxist.
For some reason I think of Bolsheviks bad-mouthing Mensheviks.

The second interesting point is this is reminiscent of the PropOrNot website the Washington Post was promoting in 2016, more on this after the jump.

The third point of interest is the story itself. From The New Republic, March 9:

The connection? I haven't the foggiest. I do know that the search engine will try to silo you into parameters you've already expressed an interest in but WTH?
