Last Updated Nov 6, 2016 9:25 PM ESTCUSHING, Okla. -- An earthquake rattled the state of Oklahoma Sunday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
CBS affiliate KOTV reported that the 5.3-magnitude earthquake happened at 7:44 p.m. CST.
Its epicenter was reported about one mile west of Cushing, and 53 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.Here's the U.S. Geological Survey:
The earthquake was less than four miles deep, KOTV reported.
The quake was felt as far away as Kansas City, Missouri, and Little Rock, Arkansas.
