Scams Old and New

Here's a clever ATM / cashpoint scam, which has got quite a few people in the US.
The scammers, who operate mostly during banking hours, superglue locked the 'Cancel' and 'Clear' buttons on a machine outside a bank branch (so that they can't be pressed down). The victims discover that the machine 'isn't working' after they have entered their PIN number, and go into the branch to complain. In the meantime, the scammers rush over and complete the transaction by using the on-screen keys. Nice.

There are, however, far easier scams. The best is probably this one:
Paint a brick gold.
Find idiot.
Sell brick to idiot.
