New version of Lieberman-Warner May Include Foreign Carbon Credits

Wrong, wrong, wrong!
I've been holding off writing about this rather arcane subject until we get closer to the floor vote.
This is a provision pushed by carbon traders that would leave the U.S. in a worse competitive situation than we're in now.
Here's a snip from Point Carbon:
A bill making its way through the US Congress that aims to introduce a federal cap-and-trade scheme for greenhouse gas emissions may now allow carbon credits from developing countries, a former Senate legislative advisor told a conference on Friday.
