I hope they give bleary-eyed customers a heads-up before the pivot.
From Fortune:
Instead of tea pots, you may be able to buy pot tea at Second Cup’s Ontario locations starting in April 2019. The Canadian coffee chain said it’s considering converting some of its 130 locations from caffeinated beverages to retail marijuana outlets, according to The Globe and Mail. The company’s stock was up 30% in intraday trading, and closed Thursday up 10% for the week, but below some recent highs.Usually it's the stock promoters doing the pivot. Someday I'll get around to checking if some lunatic scammer actually went with "e-iTrade.com".The next group of parasites were the "homeland security" companies, then land deals.
The "resource" scams never went away and became more prominent in 2002 after gold had moved off its $252 bear market low.
We're in the Green boom (happy Earth day by the way) now, who knows what's next....
Today in EuroInvestor:

The total value of the purchase orders, involving several of the partnership’s soil-based products, is $2 million with delivery to begin this June....
