Deutsche Bank Said GE Industrial (GE) Worth $12, But GE Capital Concerns Keep Them On The Sidelines
Deutsche Bank is commenting on GE (NYSE: GE) today following the free-fall in the stock. The firm said they are inclined to be much more positive since GE's industrial businesses are clearly worth more than the current share price, but they remain on the sidelines due to lingering concerns.
The firm said, "...we value GE Industrial at $12/share and so we believe the market is factoring GE Capital at a negative valuation of as much as $60bn. This seems very bearish, but the equity market has become convinced that GE Capital is under-capitalized. Our concern is that this fear is becoming transmitted into the credit markets where GECC spreads have ballooned for both cash and CDS contracts.">>>MORE
