Premarket: Catching Some Rays
Solar companies could get a boost in trading today after Canadian Solar Inc. said it swung to a first-quarter profit Tuesday on strong market demand and increased solar cell production. In addition, the company’s second-quarter guidance surpassed analyst expectations. The stock gained 17% in premarket action, according to Archipelago. The China-based solar-power cell manufacturer posted net income of $19 million, or 61 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $3.85 million, or 14 cents a share.*LDK: "Dropping like a turd from a tall cow"

I've never really looked into this one. The analysts are looking for $0.39, the stock is looking for a beat, it's up 4 1/2% on a down day.
