"Billionaire tycoon loses £78m for trying to smuggle Picasso painting out of country"

 Well this was an ill-advised little adventure.

Ex-banker Jaime Botin, 84, one of Spain's richest men, lost his appeal against paying the staggering amount, claiming he was taking the £22m artwork to Switzerland for safekeeping

One of Spain's richest men has lost a battle to avoid paying a staggering £78million fine for trying to smuggle a Picasso painting out of the country. 

Billionaire ex-banker Jaime Botin's challenge to the fine was rejected by Supreme Court of Spain in the country's capital Madrid yesterday....
