"Chinese mainland reports no new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases"

It's almost as if the Chinese people are immune to the novel coronavirus.

From Xinhua, October 8:

No new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported Wednesday across the Chinese mainland, the National Health Commission said Thursday.

A total of 11 confirmed cases arriving from outside the mainland were reported, the commission said in its daily report.

One new suspected case, also imported, was reported in Shanghai and no new deaths related to the disease were reported, the commission added. Enditem
